An international shipping line launched a process to design, develop, test, and deploy a new ERP system that needed to be integrated with more than 20 best-of-breed fleet management systems. These 20 systems created the need to develop over 50 different integration points, spanning a broad range of functionalities, including fleet management and maintenance, shipping operations, accounting, banking, payroll, taxes, reporting and procurement.
- Our Approach
- Managed the integration of more than 20 satellite systems into a new ERP system, covering 55 separate integration points
- Led the design, development, tesing, and deployment of the 55+ technology interfaces, collaborating closely with a team of client employees, executives, consultants, and 3rd-party vendors
- Led a series of small task forces dedicated to handling the changes to the satellite systems, testing the integrations, and troubleshooting integration challenges
Following successful implementation of the ERP and integration of the satellite systems, the system was rolled out globally to manage shipping line operations, finance, and administration.
