Cascadia was retained to review and optimize the business processes in the airside operations department of one the largest international airports in Canada.
Cascadia completed the following activities during the engagement:
•Collaborated with various stakeholders throughout the organization to better understand key processes, constraints, tools & systems, and challenges in over twelve operating departments
•Established key workflows which were reviewed, redesigned and documented to enable reconfiguration of the processes and systems
•Redesigned key operational processes to increase efficiency and accountability
This implementation of this project remains on-going, but many improvements and changes are already underway. Cascadia’s engagement allowed to better align safety management tools with the organization’s health & safety department on an overall safety management approach at the airport and to better leverage new software modules in development.
