Cascadia was contracted by an organization to perform a comparative benchmark between a private and public operational model and measure its corresponding impact on financial and operational performance.
Cascadia performed the following activities:
•Conducted extensive interviews to better understand the operational differences and challenges in facilities management across North America
•Collected financial, operational and customer satisfaction data from the organization and six other jurisdictions
•Benchmarked twelve key operational, financial and customer service metrics to generate an “apples-to-apples” comparison and model analysis
•Developed key insights based on the data and identified specific opportunities for the client to improve financial and operational performance for operations and facility management
• Produced specific examples of how other jurisdictions are operating private and public models differently and examined the impacts on operations and financial performance
•Constructed a framework for the selection of a delivery model based on the corporate objectives of the organization
The organization received a comprehensive report to help inform the decision on a public or private service delivery model.
