Cascadia assisted a BC Ministry with the creation of a business case to improve document sharing and preserve document integrity across multiple groups of BC ministry stakeholders.
Cascadia performed the following activities during the creation of a business case:
•Developed and executed a stakeholder engagement plan for the client and core stakeholders
•Assessed possible enterprise architecture options, considering operational transition under each scenario
•Completed the OCIO’s standardized C55 assessment framework (accountability and financial), and assigned value to financial and non-financial benefits
•Detailed project planning, including estimating capital and operating costs for 5 years
The business case which was approved by the OCIO, communicated a compelling technology cost/benefit analysis with a clear description of the existing operational issues, the technology that will enable process improvement and an overview of the vendor selection options. Cascadia provided a quick turn around of the business case by understanding day-to-day operations as well as operational and system needs.
